Toddler Tumbling is designed for the tiniest of tumbler, ages two to four. Young tumblers will work on beginning skills such as somersaults, cartwheels, backbends, and basic jumps. The focus will be on proper technique, improving coordination, and how to be part of an active class setting.
This class is designed for those with little or no experience with tumbling. Students will learn the proper technique and execution of cartwheels, round-offs, and their coordinating drills. Beginning techniques for standing back handsprings and round-off back handsprings will also be taught. All beginner tumbling classes include a portion of double mini and trampoline.
Tumblers who enroll in Intermediate Tumbling need to be able to perform minimum skills, which includes cartwheel, round-off, unassisted standing back handspring, and unassisted round-off back handspring. Tumblers will learn and strengthen proper technique for standing and running back handspring series, as well as back tucks. All intermediate tumbling classes include a portion of double mini and trampoline.
The Advanced Tumbling Class requires that all students be able to perform a standing and running round-off back handspring series of three or more. During the class, tumblers will work in progression to learn proper technique and execution of back tucks, layouts, fulls, and other advanced skills. All advanced tumbling classes include a portion of double mini and trampoline.
